 My dear Kiera,

Papa and I and uncle Danny and his family and your family all went to Punta Cana the week of Thanksgiving. We had such a great time. At one point you were sitting on the beach and you look at me and say “I am living the life“

We were taking a shuttle To go snorkeling, and of course, Papa was talking to the driver. You said to me, do you know what I like? About papa’s personality,? He can talk to anybody and he does talk to everybody.

Bryce is now a freshman in high school and you were so worried about her going to college and you won’t have an iPhone so that you can text her. Cracks me up you love your Brycee.

On Thanksgiving day you said to me “do you know what I am thankful for? You” and I said, and I’m thankful for you. Papa heard us and said there is a bunch of baloney going on here. And you said there’s no baloney here. You are such a little love them.

Last week in church they did a little bit different program or they sang then did a little talk and sang did a little talk so they didn’t make people stand up. But you stood up for every song and most of the time your hands were either in a prayer or raised. That one song, uncle Bryan stood up because he was beside you, and you just leaned into him and hugged him.

 My dear little Keira,

You are quite a cross country star. You take first in just about every race you do. But you get so nervous and worked up before a race. Sometimes you run the race And you are sobbing. Your mom and dad have trying to give you lots of little things to calm you down, but they just don’t seem to work.  One of the times I said to you “honey, if it makes you so upset, you don’t have to“ and you said to me between sobs, “they make me!” it just cracked me up. Your last race when you came through the finish line the first thing you said to your mama was where are the grandmas? That made me feel pretty special. I love you honey.

 My dear little Kiera,

You are such a little love bug, but boy do you talk everyone’s head off. Haha. You love to come to my house and help bake something. 

A couple weeks ago uncle Danny’s kids were all here and it was Bryce’s birthday and she asked us to come, so Lorelei, put a dress on and you wanted to go home and get a dress on also. 

This week was Bowens birthday and he also asked if we could come, and you put on one of your new school outfits and you told me you wanted to dress up for Bowens birthday. 

You will be going to second grad this year. Growing so fast. You do cross country and you are one of the fastest runners. It is amazing how fast you are.

 My dear little Keira,

You and I went shopping the other day and I showed you a striped T-shirt for me and you said oh no, that’s an old person shirt. And I asked what old person shirts look like and you said they’re dark colors, you need bright colors.

You are such a loving little girl, and I love you to pieces

 My dear Kiera! 

Papa and I went on a cruise to Alaska, and when we got back there was a card on my island from you that said I can’t wait to hug you. What a nice thing to return to. You are such a little love bug.

You went on a field trip from school to WLD Ranch, and you got to ride a horse, but they lead you around. You told me you want to learn how to steer a horse, and when you learned that you are going to run the horse. But you do want to make sure you know how to steer it first. You are so funny.

 My dear Kiera, 

You are such a compassionate, loving little girl. Sommer had her double mastectomy almost 4 weeks ago and you made a card for Bryce and Bowen. On the card, you said, I feel you, from Keira. What you were trying to say, was you felt their pain, and you made a card for them.

Then we were in church on Sunday and as we were walking out, there was a prayer box. You asked me what it was and I told you. You said then we can ask for prayers for aunt Sommer. So you filled out a card and put it in the box to request prayers for aunt Sommer.

I love you sweet girl
