We were in church last week, and your Mama left to go to the potty and you were going to follow her. Two seconds later, you were back beside us, and I asked if you didn’t find her, and you said no, I like this song, so I had to come back. You love music. When a song comes on, you cannot sit still. You just love to dance, and sing

My dear Kiera,
We got a new doggie, your mama sent us a picture and of course we went and looked and it was all over at that point. Haha. You said to me “ I am so happy for you guys” what a sweet thing to say 💖
Your mama just quit her job at web tech and is working at Mckean school, You get to ride with her in the morning in the evening. And you are just so excited to have her there. You will remember this the rest of your life I’m sure. What time you got to spend with your mama writing back-and-forth to school, what a wonderful memories.

My dear Kiera,
We just had a national election and it was very controversial and you would ask questions every time you came to our house about different issues. I was so surprised that you were so hungry to learn. And even from your school bus, you noticed the political signs on the road, and you determine who you thought would win based on the signs you saw. You just turned nine, so I was very surprised
When you and Caden spend the night at my house, you always say your prayers, of course you do at your house. But you both are so grateful to God and grateful for so many good things in your life. I love to hear how you pray.
We lost our dog, Lucy, while ago, and you were so sweet To give us sympathy. Lorelei was devastated that Lucy died. We had just been to their house with Lucy and she was crying when she found out. You said to me Lorelei has a lot of emotions.
About a month ago you and Caden and Bryce and Bowen spend the night, you were so happy to be together. We used to do it all the time and it has gotten harder and harder as the kids get older. We didn’t have Internet that night., So we had to play games and we had a ball. However, you get very excited about everything and at one point Bowen says to you Keira can you talk with your mouth and not your body? Haha

My dear Kiera,
Schools out for the summer so I will be seeing you a lot. You were here the other day and you wanted to watch a show on Netflix. I don’t have Netflix, so you told me to ask your dad because he could probably get me Netflix, because he knows how to do that stuff.
You’ve been doing really good on soccer this year. And really enjoying it. You are such a sweet little girl and I love you so much.

Today was your field trip from school and you woke up sick but still tried to go. Well, you didn’t make it very long and mama asked me to take you to urgicare. You are so funny. You were very informative to the doctor. She asked if you took any medications and you said “ well, not at the doctors suggestion but my mom gives me something like a vitamin”. And then the dr asked if you threw up and you said “one time I ate too many raspberries and I did throw up”
When we were heading home you said “ things always happen at your house, me getting sick and remember when Hayden and Lorelei have come and they get sick”? And I said yes I do, aren’t I lucky and you said “well actually you are, because it means everyone trusts you” what a nice thing to say Kiera! You are a little sweetie pie

My dear Kiera,
You and your family just came down to Florida last week, to spend a week with us. We all went to Punta Cana at Thanksgiving and at first your parents said no Florida trip. But you talked them into it, you said we had to go to. Thank goodness
Your dad loves to tease me that I won’t be home for his birthday and you said “ You will make her feel bad“ When you guys come to Florida we always celebrate your mommy and daddy and Caden‘s birthday
We had a day of rain, all day. And at one point we were all in the living room sitting down and you said “is this what relaxing is“. Needless to say, your parents do not know how to relax.
You love to visit our neighbor, Kathi. When you go over, we tell you not to stay too long, so you set a timer on your watch for five minutes and when it went off, you would add one minute, you did that several times and then finally you said to Kathi “ I better not do anymore”
